MEETING NOTES Followup August 21, 2001: Johanna's Email

Dear Ivanhoeans,

The addendum to my minutes was highly inadequate to the discussion we had. I hope Jerry, Andrea, Worthy have more to add. But one issue I now recall was that the question was whether the three distinctions: topic, association, occurrence really worked for the elements of the game and their relations AND whether the classificatory work/structure to push the elements of the game into those categories as we go along would be worth the effort given the constraints. The idea of stand-off markup of some kind continues to seem highly desirable/useful.

Hope that addition adds some substance.
