MEETING NOTES, October 2, 2001

Abbreviated Minutes:

We need a to storyboard the game, anticipating the "look" that we foresee for version 1.0. This plus the spec is what we will use to search for funding.

We will develop the spec and storyboard based on game play model #2 and game path model #1.

Big questions that we agree to postpone for now:

1. What is a move?
     -An atomic change?
     -An umbrella that allows multiple atomic changes?
     -Any limits here?

2. What does it mean for something to be deleted?
     -Jerry suggests that it's really just relegated to the sidelines, not really removed from the discourse field.

3. What do we mean by link?
     -Web or hypertext link--mechanism that lets you navigate from one place to another
     -Ivanhoe--association between two texts or two points in a text?

Tasks to tackle after the 5-week plan:

1. Gameplay diagram that represents an ontology of moves.
